Grief is Grief

The universe sent us a message this morning. Hubby Matt took this photo of our beloved Ebony during our drive to the vet this morning. We didn't even look at this picture in his phone until hours after we said our goodbyes and Ebony was resting in peace. 

She is bathed in the glow of an angel! 

Rest in peace baby girl, you changed our lives in amazing ways and will be missed always.

Grief is heartbreaking and those of us who are dog people mourn our dogs as deeply as we mourn our human loved ones.
